Their common journey
Tim, Celina, and Peter all grew up in extraordinary circumstances. Tim and Peter grew up in large families sharing tiny apartments and living in poverty and challenge. Drugs, addiction, and lack of opportunity were normal for them. A broken-pattern system was embedded in their neighborhoods. Celina had been a high-achiever in every area, controlling her life, until she became a mother — and realized she had to learn mindfulness in order to survive.
Their families are from Cuba, Spain, Argentina, and Mexico. They care deeply about the Latin community because it is their community. And they are now bringing self-development, mindfulness, healing, and success habits specifically to this powerhouse community to build the next generation of Latin excellence.
The difference between surviving and excellence
As Peter says in this episode, side hustles weren’t a game growing up. They were survival. Tim learned fight or flight from the beginning of his life. Celina was barely hanging on as a new mother and knew she had to learn a different way. As each of them found their way into self-development, abundance, and the power of self-investment, each of their lives transformed. They began to live in excellence. They became powerhouse leaders, coaches, speakers, and authors. They took the stage and have never left.
Why these three humans have made Excelente - The Movement
Each of these co-founders have heard the cry, the call to excellence, and the call to lift their community up. They are committed to the journey, they have the resources to share, and they are here to serve. They are here to teach conscious parenting, abundance in wealth and health, leadership, successful careers, and excellence in mind and values.
