Ryan’s journey

Ryan was born into a wealthy family in his community. He was used to presents under the Christmas tree and new clothes for school. That all changed when his father became addicted to drugs and his mother turned to alcohol. At the age of 13, Ryan was forced to leave his family and live in poverty. He lived in a turkey coop in a bad neighborhood where he got caught up in gangs. Thankfully, his mother had found him a mentor who shaped the beginning of his transformation.

Ryan’s mentor lived on a lake in a private, gated community. He met his mentor’s friends and other wealthy people. Ryan realized that there wasn’t much difference between him and them. They weren’t more intelligent or stronger than he was. They might have more information and more vocabulary, but Ryan saw that as a small gap that could be filled. He’s since learned that the gap was a little bigger than anticipated, but it was that overzealous attitude that started his upward trek.

What is leadership?

For Ryan, leadership is as simple as being the best father that he can be to his 12-year-old son. Being an example to his son is what inspires him. There are two elements of leadership: internal and external. Ryan powers his external by his internal. He spends a tremendous amount of time working on his inner being through meditation practices, breathwork, healing, and contemplation. Because of the strong foundation he has built, Ryan can lead people in his movement and community.

Taking back your life with AlterCall

AlterCall dives deep into the four quadrants of the mind. It teaches people how to train their minds through meditation practices. They talk about cognitive dissonance, identity, values, and beliefs and the psychology of those aspects to help people build new psychology in their minds. AlterCall also teaches about the body and has people go through a process called restriction. In that, people might implement fasting or restrict from sugar or caffeine or any of the variety of things that toxify and stop them from having the energy needed to fulfill their calling.

Ryan’s drive is to contribute to others. He’s blessed to have many different talents. He considers his job and spiritual duty to put those talents to the best possible use to make the world a better place. He has to see that he’s putting the assets he has into good use. He doesn’t believe in time management; he believes in energy management. We have to restrict the things that drain our energy. The food we eat, the relationships we’re in, and our toxic thinking are all things that will severely drain our energy. The good news is that we can rewire our brains by practicing meditation and eliminating energy distractions from our lives. When we do that for enough days consistently, we’ll have the energy and time necessary to accomplish nearly anything.
